
Major Banbury Boost: Burger King & Costa Drive Thrus Heating up North Oxfordshire in Summer 2025
White Commercial Surveyors and Stephen James Property are delighted to announce the commencement of construction on a significant new roadside development in Banbury, Oxfordshire, set to open in Summer 2025. The scheme will include two brand new drive thru units for Burger King and Costa Coffee, alongside a modern electric vehicle charging facility with four bays and operated by ZEST.
Demolition of the existing buildings has already begun, with practical completion of the development expected by mid-2025. Located on the prominent Southam Road (A423), one of Banbury’s key arterial routes, the site offers excellent visibility and accessibility, serving both local residents and passing traffic.

The town benefits from excellent transport links, positioned just off Junction 11 of the M40, and has seen continued retail and commercial investment in recent years. Recent retail figures show Banbury’s retail catchment outperforms many similar towns, with visitor footfall steadily increasing year-on-year.
